WEATHER
"Chance of showers" is the weather forecast in the Juneau area. It rains often but the rain is usually in the form of showers. On most days there is also sunshine. The frequent washing of the air provides for some of the clearest vistas of the magnificent scenery. High temperatures range from 55º to 75º F. Rain gear and boots are provided on the boat. For additional data, please see the chart below. This data has been compiled over several decades. My personal observation over the last decade is that is a lot warmer. Snow now disappears on the higher mountains and the glaciers have retreated way back.
